Our Story

OUR FOUNDERS AND HEROES

Mark Horwich founded Fire Station Software in 2010.  He and his wife, Sarah, operated the business together until January 2020 when Mark was killed in the line of duty while responding to a structure fire.  Mark was a volunteer firefighter from 2001 to 2020 and he held many certifications including EMT-B, Firefighter I, Firefighter II, and Instructor I.  Mark was also a principle member of the NFPA 901 (Fire Reporting FIP-AAA) committee.  After his death, Sarah sought out the perfect buyer to provide the right "fit" and future for Fire Station Software.  This is when Danny became the new face of the company.
